S-802 epoxy active toughening agent is a kind of organic compound with active group. It can react with epoxy resin and curing agent, thus to increase the flexibility of epoxy curing material and reduce inner stress. Therefore, add certain amount of S-802 active toughening agent can significantly improve the anti-cracking resistance and temperature shock resistance and no affect on the good mechanical property and excellent electrical insulating property of epoxy curing material.

S-802 epoxy active toughening agent has the characteristics like: small viscosity, non-toxic, no stimulation smell, and good imtermissibility will all kinds of epoxy resins. It is widely used in transformer, mutual inductor, high tension switch, etc. It is also used in the production of epoxy resin no solvent paint and drop varnish.

3、Using method

Dosage: In epoxy resin liquid anhydride system, S-802 put general 10-20/100 epoxy resins. In this range, dosage increase, the curing material toughness is increased and distortion temperature decrease.

Dosing: According to proportion, put epoxy resin, S-802, filler and other powders successively. Mix even and heated to 80-100℃and vacuum defoaming for 15-30 minutes. Cool the material to 50-60℃and add liquid anhydride, accelerate according to proportion. Mix. And vacuum defoaming again for 5-10 minutes. Then casting directly (or vacuum).

Curing: Curing condition is different according to the proportion of accelerate, casting size, scope, other parts and material temperature resistance.

Matters need attention: S-802 flexibilizer will produce crystallization in 5℃environment. It can restore to the original after a little heating. And it is no affect on using performance.

Packing and storage
It is packed with 25kg plastic barrel or according to customer’s demands.
Storage condition: Dry and ventilated. The term of validity is one year.
